CONTROL ROOM : 20' x 19' with 9' ceiling
A comfortable, spacious environment in which to create. By providing ample room and natural light in abundance, our control room is a joy to work in.
We are extremely proud of how neutral this room sounds. It has been acoustically designed to the highest standards by Recording Architecture and our monitoring is regularly checked and aligned by the highly-regarded expertise of Nick Whitaker. All this ensures that there are no nasty surprises when it comes to mastering your project.
LIVE ROOM : 25' x 14' with 9' ceiling
Our main room is cloaked in wood and characterised by a warm and defined sound. The room houses a baby grand piano and in addition can comfortably accommodate a full band set-up of up to 6 musicians or a string section of 6-8 musicians.
Separating the live room and the control room is an additional booth with full visibility over the live room. The live room also benefits from an isolated amp booth in one corner.
The main recording area was also designed by Recording Architecture and utilises the Black Box acoustic conditioning system. The result is an acoustic environment that can adapt.
With simple adjustments the room can be “opened up” to reveal the wood surround for a brighter sound and subtle, controlled reflections. For increased bass response and definition, the room can be deadened down with similar ease.
DEAD ROOM : 11' x 9.5' with 7' ceiling
Adjoined directly to the back of the control room, our dead room provides an additional isolation booth and is perfect for tracking vocals, solo instruments and guitar amplifiers. This space also doubles up as a store for our collection of classic guitars and synthesizers – ensuring that they are always within easy reach. It can also easily be converted into an additional programming and editing suite.
