From Shepherd's Bush (Hammersmith and Central Lines): 20 minutes bus

From the Central Line, turn right out of the station and continue walking until you reach the Hammersmith & City Underground Station on the Uxbridge Road. Once here, cross over the road and continue up the Uxbridge Road until you reach the first bus stop.

Take the first available 207 or 607 towards Acton.

The bus should take between 15-20 mins and you should alight at the small row of shops that is Acton Vale. (If you go past the King's Head Pub and Acton Park on the right then you've gone too far – alight at the next stop.)

From Acton Vale, continue walking and turn left at the next set of lights (King's Head Pub & Acton Park to your right). You are now on on Warple Way. Enjoy.

From Stamford Brook (District Line): 15 minutes walk

Exit the station via the rear entrance (hard right after passing through the turnstiles) and walk through the alley until the end. Turn right on to Prebend Gardens and continue on until you reach the crossroad at the end.

Stop, look both ways and, if clear, cross over and on to Emlyn Road - which is now directly in front of you. Carry on down Emlyn Road for a way until you pass a large construction site on the left. Take the next left on to Valetta Road. Continue on until the end of Valetta Road which brings you on to Warple Way. Enjoy.

From Acton Central (rail services from Richmond and Willesden) : 15 mins walk

Exit the rail station and turn right, traverse the railway crossing and continue. Within the next few moments a park will appear on you right. Find a suitable entrance and enter the Park. Stroll aimlessly through the park and briefly ponder your realization that Acton doesn't quite seem the grim place that you'd heard it was. Quite nice in fact. It does have a park after all.

The exit that you are seeking is at the opposite corner of the park. With that in mind, attempt to navigate a diagonal route through the park. If all has gone well you should find yourself exiting the park with the King's Head Pub to the left of you and a set of traffic lights in front of you. Cross over the Uxbridge Road, turn left and then immediately right and on to Warple Way. Enjoy.
